Terms of Service

1. Purpose & Service

Fate Penpal (“the Service”) is a global pen pal service where users around the world exchange letters anonymously. These Terms govern the rights and obligations between the company and users.

2. Eligibility & Age

• Only those aged 16 or older may sign up.
• You must enter your age accurately; false information may result in restricted use.

3. Anonymity

• Users act under a flower name (nickname) given by the Service; real names and contacts are not disclosed to others.
• City, age, gender, and profile photo may be shown to letter recipients.

4. Letter Rules

• You can send one new letter per day.
• A letter is delivered anonymously to several people matching your conditions (country, age, gender).
• If no reply comes within 7 days, the letter leaves your inbox and is kept as a faded letter, which can be reopened with a needle (attendance reward).
• In a letter room started by a reply, you can continue one letter per day.

5. Prohibited Conduct

• Abuse, hate, harassment, threats, stalking
• Obscene material, sexual harassment, inappropriate contact with minors
• Spam, ads, luring to external contacts/platforms
• Impersonation, false identity, bots, automation
• Coercing personal information, demanding money (romance scams)
• Distributing illegal content, infringing IP rights

6. Content & Reporting

• Users are responsible for the content they write, including letters.
• The company may review reported content/accounts and delete, suspend, or permanently ban them.

7. Service Changes

The company may change or suspend all or part of the Service, with prior notice for material changes.

8. Limitation of Liability

• The company does not directly intervene in disputes that arise between users.
• The company is not liable for service disruptions caused by force majeure.
